Job Summary:
This position is located at Milliken & Company’s Pine Mountain Plant in Pine Mountain, GA , and reports to the Human Resource Manager. The Human Resources Administrative Associate helps coordinates on/off boarding, data integrity, and provides guidance and expertise on HR policies. The Administrative Associate is a generalist who has responsibility for all HR functions including safety, employment, development, training, benefit administration, communication, and data entry. This position will require extended hours at times and working across different shifts on a 7-day operation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain files, records, and reports in Human Resources Talent Central and SAP Management System (turnover, safety, local/regional compensation data)
Administer core Human Resources functions and compliance areas to include:
Safety Process
Onboarding/Offboarding
Company Policies and Procedures
Benefits, Retirement, and Leave Programs
Salary Administration
Workers Compensations
Lead the talent acquisition process including developing/maintaining job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, maintaining the Talent Central job posting system.
Liaison with payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systems
Assist associates and applicants with employment, rules, policies, and job opportunities
Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Human Resources Manager, and management team on all location matters (strategic and operating).
Coordinate new hire staffing and 1st Day activities
Lead special HR related projects, surveys, or initiatives
Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality at all times .
