Silverado is presently seeking a National Director of Sales Training (Hospice and Palliative Care) to join our team. This role will require overnight travel up to 50% of the time between the Silverado Hospice locations in CA and TX. With future expansion into WA, NV, IL, WI, KS, MO, MD, and VA. We are open to those looking to relocate but this person must live in California or Texas.
The National Director of Sales Training is responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting training programs aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and productivity of Hospice and Palliative Care Sales Teams. This role is responsible for enhancing the sales teams' effectiveness in the demonstration and teaching of all sales management and sales liaisons (clinical and non-clinical) related topics in both one-on-one and group settings, onsite and virtual. The role develops and implements long-term strategic plans for all Hospice and Palliative Care programs. This role involves ensures that the sales teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve Silverado's sales targets and promote Silverado's services effectively to the markets they serve.

The non-negotiables:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the health care industry, with at least 3- 5 years in a sales training or sales management role. Proven experience in developing and delivering successful sales training programs.
- Knowledge and experience working with patients, families, physicians, and community partners during the end-of-life.
- Proficiency in developing training materials and using training and sales technologies such as sales training methodologies. CRM Database management experience preferred.
- Experience using Canva, a graphic online design tool.
- Always maintains a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Silverado.
- Professional or volunteer-related experience with Alzheimer's and Hospice service groups helpful.
- Exceptional training and coaching skills with the ability to engage and motivate sales teams. Polished and professional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of learning management systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory and learning delivery systems.
- Must have valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birds.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and develop comprehensive sales training programs that include onboarding for new all sales management and sales liaisons (clinical and non-clinical), ongoing skills development, product and/or service training.
- Ensure the delivery and implementation of sales training programs for sales management and sales liaisons (clinical and non-clinical) and Administrators are aligned with Silverado's mission and Silverado's sales strategy and objectives.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for the sales team, utilizing various methods such as in-person training and webinars.
- Monitor and analyze training outcomes to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to training strategies and materials by utilizing assessment tools and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and the performance of the liaisons and management.
- Collaborate with the regional management team, and Administrators to identify training needs and develop customized training plans that address specific challenges and opportunities within their regions.
- Development and implementation of long-term strategic goals, priorities and action plans for Silverado Hospice and Palliative Care programs.
- Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Hospice Operations and all Sales teams that have Account Management focus to ensure training programs are comprehensive and aligned with overall business goals.
- Promote the development and implementation of Silverado's sales processes and practices to foster census growth and goals, while attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and changes in Assisted Living regulations to ensure training content is current and relevant.
- Develop and cultivate the partnership of Silverado Senior Living and Silverado Hospice for Hospice and Palliative programs.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
