JOB OVERVIEW:
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the cash management, accounting and financial
responsibilities for various corporate companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and analysis for Business Unit Executives and Corporate
Office.
- Assist Subsidiary Controllers in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
- Maintain and develop accounting resources, systems and internal controls.
- Maintain cash management and treasury responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or
ability required.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in a financial and/or treasury role.
- 1-3 years of treasury and financial experience, preferably in a consumer goods or manufacturing
environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-thinking skills.
- Pass the drug test and physical exam.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule that may include weekends
and holidays.
- Ability to interact with the public and other employees in a positive manner and promote a
cooperative working environment.
