We seek to add an experienced Nurse Practitioner with RNFA (2 + years) to our Surgical Subspecialties team.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in either urology or subspecialties or general surgery.
This is a fantastic opportunity! Great flexible schedule! The shifts include 24s, 12s and 10s so you won't be tied into a 5 day Weekday routine. (4 and 5 days off per week)

The NP will be part of a well-established, fast-paced team in a hospital setting. This department is a 24x7 service that covers Urology, ENT, Gynecology, Plastic Surgery and overnight cross-coverage of Neurosurgery patients.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Pre-operative and post-operative care to surgical patients
- Daily rounding on inpatients
- ER and inpatient consults
- Clinical responsibilities include: admissions/discharges, postoperative management, & bedside procedures
- Surgical first assist in the operating room for Subspecialties in Urology, ENT, Gynecology and Plastic Surgery. Robotic Experience preferred but not required.
Non-Clinical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates professional collaborative and consultative relationships with other providers.
- Follows all designated prescriptive practices and monitoring requirements with the designated supervising physician and administrative report.
- Participates in departmental and organizational committees and programs as appropriate and attends all required meetings, in-services, and professional trainings.
- Maintains superior interpersonal and communication skills as a member of the healthcare team.
- Remains actively involved in continuing education with a commitment to self and departmental growth.
- Adheres to all established safety policies, procedures, and precautions; identifies potential or actual unsafe situations in the environment and takes measures to rectify the situation.
- Demonstrates understanding of procedures, policies, and documentation required to ensure compliance with hospital standards of care.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the department/division.
- Must possess sound judgment and ability to work in emergency conditions.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved NP program.
- NP candidates need RNFA certification.
- Possess/Maintain National Certification for NPs
- Current/valid Massachusetts NP license
- Current DEA registration (for the state of Massachusetts) and a Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR).
- BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS required.
Reports to: Lead APP with physician oversight.

Pay: $110,757.00 - $156,708.00 per year
