Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, catering, and culinary skills. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing food production, maintaining quality standards, and leading kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to food safety standards
- Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities
- Prep and prepare items for food trucks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a kitchen supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of food production and culinary techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of shift management and scheduling
- Familiarity with the food service industry
- Certification in food handling and sanitation practices is a plus
