Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and implementing strategic plans.
Your focus will be on prospecting and closing high volume opportunities. In addition to new account prospecting, you have opportunity and responsibility to upsell and cross-sell within your client base.
You will be armed with the latest prospect and pipeline management tools and will work within our team-based sales department. The income potential is up to you.
Your Essential Duties
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals
- Conduct high-quality business development daily outreach via phone, email, social media, etc. to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Engage with prospects to sell the entire Illumis Global suite of services.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients
- Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts
- Utilize CRM software, such as Salesforce, to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and decision makers at your clients and help prospects discover and realize the value and potential from their engagement with Illumis Global.
- Oversee project management of new business initiatives

Required Experience:
· Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field
· Managing the sales cycle from business champion to C Level.
· Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively
· Excellent written and oral presentation skills
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Travel overnight as necessary
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· College degree preferred
· 3 years of closing Sales experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in B2B sales in the software industry, technical sales or services experience (e.g. Saas).
- Experience in the finance or audit industry
