Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Assist guests with luggage storage, transportation arrangements, and other requests
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software (e.g., reservation systems)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and procedures is a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and patience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
