ASSOCIATE PERSONNEL ANALYST – HUMAN RESOURCES / CLASSIFICATION & HIRING / SACRAMENTO HEADQUARTERS
The reporting location for this position is at the brand-new Natural Resources Headquarters building in Sacramento, California. This position will work under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I.
Our Classification & Hiring (C&H) branch is growing! We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, customer service and detail-oriented individuals that are comfortable working in the grey. The incumbents will be responsible for conducting departmental hires which includes both Classification and Pay and Certification tasks. The incumbents will be responsible for analyzing Request for Personnel Actions, drafting job controls, verifying eligibility and minimum qualifications, sending job offer letters; etc.
This is a great opportunity to learn and perform the full range of hiring tasks involved with the State of California’s hiring process.
Please note: The Associate Governmental Program Analyst eligibility list may be used as an appropriate for the Associate Personnel Analyst. Candidates with Associate Governmental Program Analyst eligibility must also meet the minimum qualifications for the Associate Personnel Analyst classification in order to be eligible for appointment.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
