Job Description

In 2019, Bain Capital acquired U.S. Renal Care (USRC). Dallas-based USRC is the third largest dialysis provider in the country, with 380+ clinics across the US. USRC serves patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), a serious chronic condition. USRC is focused on delivering innovative, patient-centric, quality care. In addition, USRC forms deep and long-term partnerships with physicians, including forming JV partnerships with our nephrologists.
USRC seeks to recruit a key business leader to help lead and drive its ongoing transformation, which includes initiatives focused on the transition to value-based care. The Senior Director, Market Operations Value Based Care will lead and support strategic and operational initiatives in USRC's value-based care business. This role requires an individual who is passionate about impact and value-creation, and who brings the strategic and tactical skills to deliver change. It is essential that this individual also bring vision, leadership skills, and an ability to influence teams and organizations at all levels.
For identified initiatives, this position will be the face of the organization to our physician partners. This position will be responsible for the success of physician practice/client program implementation, including project & team communications, meeting facilitation, meeting note taking/follow-up, and project reporting. Beyond project management, this individual provides end-to-end support on projects, including leading meetings, and ensuring the active value-based care programs meet/exceed defined milestones/performance targets. Overall, this position has high exposure to the USRC senior executive team and is a great platform additional growth within the value-based care team & USRC more broadly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Lead / support value-based care program development and execution
- Lead / support multiple value-based care accounts with multiple physician partners across broad geographic area
- Lead / Support value-based care programs across multiple payers
- Lead / manage cross-functional / departmental teams engaged in identified value-based care initiatives.
- Manage & drive value-based care program performance, including key operational and financial metrics
- Manage & implement value-based care program initiatives, including risk adjustment, quality metrics, and clinical programs to achieve cost savings
- Partner with broader value-based care team to develop and enhance products & solutions utilized to drive VBC program implementation & operations (e.g., reports, clinical programs & tools, technology tools, etc.)
- Partner closely with core USRC dialysis operations and clinical teams to achieve value-based care program objectives
- Lead / manage meetings; organize pre-meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, maintain efficient/on schedule meetings, post-meeting follow-up, and summary notes.
- Report project management updates and timeline progression to VP/SVP, Value Based Care as needed.
- Meet Value Based Care project deliverables on time and within scope and budget.
Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working in the healthcare provider, dialysis, and/or value-based space
- Experience leading and managing value-based care healthcare provider partnerships; direct responsibility for partnership-related P&L and performance
- Experience leading and managing physician practice partnerships & accounts
- Experience successfully supporting, implementing, and managing large projects, including change management initiatives within healthcare provider organizations.
- Superior project management skills and an orientation to plan and organize work and teams. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple projects / deliverables
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and advance Excel skills.
