Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)
Compensation: $130K-$160K pr/yr
Job Type: Full-Time and In-person position, Day shift, Monday - Friday
Collaborating with a Long Term Care/Rehabilitation Facility in Arverne, NY that is currently seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON/ADNS)
ADON/ADNS Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports delivery of high-quality resident care.
- Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
- Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel
- Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management
- Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
- Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly
- Participating in facility surveys
- Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid RN license in New York State
- 2+ years Long-term care experience required
- 3+ years Supervisory experience required
- Infection control certification (nice to have)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
