Warehouse staff accurately receive, store and ship parts maintaining an orderly and well-kept Parts/Inventory Department. They will assist the customers with their parts ensuring the Company’s customer service objectives are met.

Warehouse Duties:
1. Receives product from suppliers and customers utilizing provided equipment.
2. Places in the appropriate bin for storage, and correcting computer records if need to assure location of part quickly when needed.
3. Accurately tracking incoming and outgoing shipments noting shipper and destination with correct labeling to ensure timely delivery.
4. Assists in the preparation of vendor parts returns ensuring all documentation is complete.
5. Assists in the preparation of all core returns to proper vendors. Packaging, inspecting and ensuring completion of all necessary documentation.
6. Maintains a clean and orderly work area according to Company policies.
7. Maintains warehouse housekeeping to ensure all aisles are kept clear and exterior storage is clean and orderly.
8. Assists in the physical inventory of the Parts Department, including regular cycle counting as directed.
Customer Duties:
1. Greets walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Accurately fills and prepares parts orders for delivery or shipment based on customer requests.
3. Acquire authorization and/or purchase order as needed for billing purposes.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS /TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
1. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
2. Two (2) years’ experience working within a warehouse operation preferred.
3. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and the ability to apply receiving/storing methods.
4. Ability to learn the heavy duty truck/trailer maintenance/repair business as well as the ability to learn mechanical terminology.
5. Ability to learn heavy duty truck and trailer parts.
6. Ability to learn Company service objectives and apply those objectives in the performance of job duties.
7. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing within the department and other areas of the Company as necessary.
8. Ability to interpret and work from oral and written instructions.
9. Ability to work with a variety of customers in a courteous and cooperative manner.
10. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
11. Ability to operate a forklift.
12. Ability to operate all office equipment necessary to accomplish job duties such as computers, calculators, copiers, telephones, etc.
13. Ability to legibly document data for record keeping purposes.
14. Ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activity.
15. Knowledge of organizational methods and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
16. Ability to travel to other Company locations, with proper notice to assist with inventory operations.
17. Ability to work daily and overtime as required.
18. Ability to assist in other work-related areas as required.
WORK CONTACTS:
Internal contacts will consist of customers, co-workers, immediate and departmental managers to exchange and provide information as well as to present and discuss information and/or issues.
External contact with customers to assist in parts delivery and relationship building.

- Employee must transfer parts (brake shoe kits) from pallet to shelf to hand stock shelves. Requires vertically transferring parts weighing (40 Lbs.), from (6In.) to (70 In.), up to (50/hr.).
- Employee must transfer parts (brake shoe kits) from pallet to shelf to hand stock shelves. Requires horizontally transferring same weighing (40 Lbs.), (50/hr.), (5 ft.) without mechanical assistance.
- Employee must transfer parts (starters) from pallet to shelf to hand stock shelves. Requires vertically transferring parts weighing (60 Lbs.), from (6 In.) to (46 In.), up to (30/hr.).
- Employee must transfer parts (starters) from pallet to shelf to hand stock shelves. Requires horizontally transferring same weighing (60 Lbs.), (30/hr.), a distance of (3 ft.) without mechanical assistance.
- Employee must transfer large parts (brake drums) from pallet to pallet or two-wheeler. Requires vertically transferring same weighing (100 Lbs.) from (28 In.) to (6 In.), up to ( 8/hr.).
Push/Pull Requirements:
- Employee must transfer palletized parts from receiving are to warehouse storage slot. Uses pallet jack. Must horizontally transfer same requiring a force of (50 Lbs.), (4/hr.) a distance of (10 ft.).
Hand Movement Requirements:
- Employee must cut hosing. Uses hose cutters requiring coupling forces of (35 Lbs.) up to (2/hr.).
