The Training Coordinator will oversee training policies and procedures ensuring the site is properly staffed and officers are trained and motivated. The
Training Coordinator will also work closely with the client contact to achieve goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the association.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in corrections, law enforcement, military security, account management
or other related fields.

Qualifications:
Security Training Coordinator:
The Site Training Coordinator is responsible for implementing on-site training programs in accordance with facility training requirements. The STC is responsible for maintaining a master training matrix to ensure all facility and statutory training requirements are recorded. The STC will work closely with the Regional Training Coordinator (RTC) as required.
Candidates must have exceptional people skills, a professional image, attention to detail, the ability to take ownership, commitment to team success, an outgoing personality, and self-motivated drive.
Skills Needed:

Demonstrate an ability to lead a diverse team of individuals through varying and competing demands

Demonstrate an ability to Analyze, Design, Develop,Implement and Evaluate training for a site security team to both maintain current standards as well as improve security performance

Demonstrate experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning. Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential

Possess strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public

Technology skills: operate access control system, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email

Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor and appearance

Experience managing multiple tasks, while performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands

Familiarity with report writing

Technology/software (must be proficient in use of computers)

Training background a must with classroom facilitation required

Responsibilities:
-
Coordinates site training plan in conjunction with the RTC
- Provides clear and concise guidance, materials and instructions to security staff as required
-
Maintain a comprehensive current database on all training activities, to include participants, results and completion rates
-
Oversee training and exercises as necessary for site security to maintain and improve levels of proficiency and readiness
- Identify, report and document site training opportunities to Site Leadership
- Direct and oversee all training activities conducted by supervisors with their assigned security staff

Ensure all aspects of the onboarding training program are implemented and recorded
- Routinely measure and assess the proficiency and effectiveness of training to ensure vendor and facility expectations are implemented
Qualifications:
- All personnel assigned to the facility location, are required to possess two or more of the following:

Two years of Security Operations Management/Coordination

Two years of Security Training Management/Coordination
-
Two Years of Law Enforcement/Public Safety Training Experience
-
Military Leadership and Development/Training Experience
-
Two years or more of college with 60 credit hours; preferably in the fields of Criminal Justice, Technology, Social Science, Business

Demonstrated work experience in security, customer service, loss prevention, assist management, technology systems, program management, dispatch / call center, guest services, in the private sector.
