The Director of Enterprise Analytics at Rancho Health MSO will be a crucial member of the Company’s Finance Division, initially reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This role involves leading the strategic design, development, and implementation of the business intelligence platform to meet the organization's current and future information needs. The Director will develop data models, reports, and analytical tools to provide data-driven insights, supporting company-wide advanced approaches to data analytics across financial, operational, clinical, quality, and other data domains. By identifying and assisting in the implementation of sound business decisions, the Director will aim to improve financial performance, enhance growth and profitability, and support clinical care delivery.

- Develop analytical tools, reports, and models utilizing KPIs, business performance data, and industry trends.
- Leverage deep understanding of healthcare data models and structures to architect a Rancho Data Structure from multiple sources of data, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Partner with IT and support the design and implementation of data processes, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines.
- Partner with IT in the management of 3rd party vendors and partners.
- Continually build and enhance Rancho Health’s repository of reports and tools for department leaders and executives.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and availability of reporting systems through effective data governance and quality assurance practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on technical concepts and best practices in healthcare data models and structures.
- Assess and implement advanced technology solutions to enable seamless integration of diverse data sources and optimize data processing efficiency.
- Serve as a business owner for the enterprise analytics function, driving technical innovation and excellence.
- Serve as the administrator for Rancho Health’s data environments, responsible for access and data integrity
- Facilitate the design of the analytics capability roadmap, incorporating advanced data modeling and architecture principles.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.
- Customize visual presentations to maximize insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with senior leaders as a technical consultant, offering expertise in healthcare data analytics and architecture.
- Guide team members on advanced technical concepts and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in healthcare data management and analytics, proactively integrating them into the analytics platform roadmap.
- Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, managing employees, and addressing and resolving internal matters.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned staff.
Required education and experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Minimum seven (7) years of leadership experience in healthcare business analytics, specifically in healthcare delivery.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Advanced degree in health analytics, informatics, computer science, or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare analytics and related systems / operations.
- Experience with data warehousing, BI methodologies, and cloud-based solutions.
- Expert level SQL programming skills
- Expert understanding of healthcare data models and structures.
- Previous experience building high-performing analytics
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools, including visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau).
