A Japanese consumer product manufacturer is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join their US division. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in sales or operations along with some accounting knowledge.
Fluent Japanese language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, are necessary to communicate with the Japan headquarters.
Responsibilities:

Respond to questions that come from Sales, Marketing, Office, Accounting and Warehouse.

Email reply to group company and suppliers

Check trend market and consider strategies/ new ideas

Consider operations improvements

Approve payroll

Check accounting month ends

Check monthly sales and profit
<Quarterly tasks>

Pay sales tax and Excise tax

Check stock levels and make purchase order plan
<Yearly tasks>

Financial statement audit

Group company consolidated accounts audit

Review employee salary and bonus

Products Price Increase
-
Budgeting
-
Trade show
-
Business trip to Asian countries(Japan, Singapore, China and etc visit group company and suppliers)
Requirements/Qualifications

Excellent communication in English and Japanese

Valid US driver's license
-
Ability and flexibility to travel domestically & internationally
-
MS office; Excel, PowerPoint and Word to create presentation materials and various reports
