- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of installation technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources, manage work schedules, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive installation plans, including equipment selection, wiring diagrams, and integration requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to procure materials and equipment necessary for installations.
- Installation Execution:
- Oversee the installation of audio and visual systems, including speakers, amplifiers, projectors, screens, and control systems, in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure proper integration and calibration of audiovisual components to deliver optimal performance and functionality.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed installations to verify compliance with design specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and client expectations.
- Address any deficiencies or issues promptly, implementing corrective measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate expertise in audiovisual technologies, including audio distribution systems, video conferencing systems, digital signage, and control interfaces.
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and prevent accidents during installation activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial audiovisual installation, with a proven track record of leadership in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in audiovisual equipment installation, integration, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of industry-leading brands and technologies.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor a team of installation technicians.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
