Job Summary: This position combines responsibilities for overseeing daily operations of the entire practice.
Education and Experience: Minimum of a 4 year undergraduate degree and two years experience as a medical office manager.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the Lafayette office, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance improvement, morale and annual reviews.
- Lead/participate in daily staff huddles at the beginning of each day.
- Conduct/participate in Lafayette staff meetings and joint meetings between the Lafayette and Indianapolis offices.
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, phone answering, office communications, incoming referral management, prior authorizations, and collection of patient balances.
- Oversee and coordinate the eligibility and benefits review program.
- Function as the practice revenue cycle management coordinator and work with our RCM vendor.
- Manage all facets of MACRA/MIPS, working with outside vendors in the selection and set up of Meaningful Use guides within our medical record system.
- Oversee operation and manage eClinicalWorks electronic medical record and practice management system.
- Conduct insurance credentialing, contract review and fee schedule negotiations as needed.
- Manage the HIPAA compliance program.
- Maintain updated knowledge of company benefits and terms of the company handbook
- Participate in weekly management phone conference meetings.
- Participate in payroll and payroll management as needed.
- Manage phone and automated message systems.
- Work with our IT vendor as needed.
- Work with our marketing vendor as needed.
