Job Summary:
The Windows 11 Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing the migration of all company systems and hardware to Windows 11. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in Windows operating systems, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for the Windows 11 migration.
- Coordinate with IT, security, and other departments to ensure all aspects of the migration are addressed.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Oversee the testing and validation process to ensure all systems and applications are compatible with Windows 11.
- Manage communication with vendors and third-party service providers involved in the migration.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of the migration process, including user guides and technical documentation.
- Provide training and support to staff to ensure a smooth transition to Windows 11.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Conduct post-migration reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure all goals were achieved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Must have transitioned an organization from Windows 10 to Windows 11
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in IT and system migration projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations is a plus.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
