Job Summary:
The FP&A Manager will lead the financial planning and analysis efforts within the company, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior management. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and reporting, ensuring the company’s financial health and supporting decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop, manage, and refine the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Create and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to drive business performance and support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, to senior management.
- Develop dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Strategic Support:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop financial strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support long-term strategic planning.
- Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and systems, enhancing overall efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the Finance and Sales teams and with other departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related field.
- Proven track record of managing financial planning processes and developing financial models.
- Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning software (NetSuite is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
