SUMMARY
The Program Manager responsible for leading and managing all activities required to define, design, develop and deliver new medical and pharma device products. The program manager position requires cross-functional knowledge and comprehensive business management skills, providing direction and leadership to a cross-functional program development team. Expertise from the following disciplines is required: product development, clinical, quality, operations, product planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks
- Produce program reports for management and stakeholders
- Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of medical and pharma drug delivery projects and serves as liaison between operations and customer
- Manages the development and implementation process of medical and pharma drug delivery projects and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes
- Reviews status of medical and pharma drug delivery projects manages schedules and prepares status reports
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Communicates with stakeholders and obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience) working in medical device (highly regulated) environment
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or related field
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of digital marketing
- Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in business administration or related field
- Previous stakeholder management skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Proven proposal writing experience
- Lean Sigma Black or Green Belt or Certification in Lean Sigma training
