Job Description:
The Marketing and Brand Development Specialists will work closely with the Co-founder. The ideal candidates will be both skilled in marketing and strategic brand development and have familiarity with the cannabis space, though this is not a necessity. These roles will involve developing and executing marketing strategies, creating compelling content, and collaborating with various teams to ensure brand consistency and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand Strategy and Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape.
- Create and manage brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
2. Marketing Campaigns:
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- Develop and manage content for marketing campaigns, including blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and advertising copy.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
3. Content Creation:
- Collaborate with content creators, writers, podcasts, and other team members to create engaging and visually appealing marketing materials.
- Oversee the creation of product packaging, promotional materials, and other brand assets.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice.
4. Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimize the company’s website, ensuring it is user-friendly and effectively communicates the brand message.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Oversee the company’s social media presence, creating and curating content that engages and grows the audience.
5. Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and collaborations that align with the brand and business objectives.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including influencers, agencies, and other vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand development, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and social media strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with the cannabis industry is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment and Schedule:
- This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site at our Carbondale, Colorado office. On-site is preferred.
