Data Entry Clerk
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and updating data into our systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data into company databases with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Update and maintain data records as necessary
- Verify and correct data where necessary
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Organize and manage files to ensure proper archiving and accessibility
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Assist in generating reports and compiling data for analysis
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite is required
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Familiarity with data entry software and databases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
