**Join Our Team as an HR and Administrative Assistant!**
**Location:** Carson, CA
**Position:** HR and Administrative Assistant
**Pay: **$23-$27/hour depending on experience
**Key Responsibilities:**
**HR and Payroll Support:**
- Prepare documentation for new hires and facilitate orientation.
- Enter new hire information and employee changes into ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and maintain personnel files.
- Process promotions, department transfers, and terminations in payroll systems.
- Organize and secure personnel and confidential documents.
- Liaise with expatriate employees regarding missing documents or potential issues, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
**Payroll Process (Expats Related):**
- Manage reporting of payroll changes, tax information, and other essential data for monthly expatriate payroll.
- Coordinate efficiently with external service providers and accounting firms for tax returns as directed by the HR/GA Manager.
**General Affairs & Administrative Assistance:**
- Ensure up-to-date company and business license records.
- Maintain company property records and policies.
- Manage and direct incoming phone calls effectively.
- Organize, maintain, and update file systems and documentation.
- Conduct research and prepare requested data files.
- Coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, facility reservation, and transcription of meeting minutes.
- Handle outgoing mail and correspondence, including emails and faxes.
- Oversee supply ordering and equipment maintenance.
- Verify invoice accuracy and confirm receipt of orders.
- Publish internal information via the company intranet.
- Arrange travel schedules, reservations, accommodation, and shuttle services for staff and guests.
- Perform various errands as necessary, including mail drop-off and FedEx package sending.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in HR administration and payroll processes.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
