POSITION SUMMARY
Supporting production
1. Support production with effective equipment.
· Trouble shoot and repair the following systems:
· Electrical
· Pneumatic
· Hydraulic
· Scheduling major projects from beginning to completion
· Installation of new equipment,
· Perform Preventative maintenance,
· Modify / Improve equipment.
2. Supports production by solving manufacturing problems.
· Improving Quality
· Reducing rework
· Reducing Labor
· Reducing Scrap
3. Use Visual MRP system to summarize data and implement improvements.
4. Use Cad system including 3-D modeling as needed to develop tooling to improve quality of products.
5. Supports production by improving production processes:
· solving manufacturing problems.
· establish sound production processes.
· Scheduling major projects from beginning to completion
· Design Tooling and fixturing.
· Use Cad system including 3-D modeling as needed to develop tooling to improve quality of products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Maintain maintenance instructions for preventive maintenance programs.
· Wiring diagrams
· Machine manuals and schematics
2. Coordinate required preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of equipment.
3. Keep Equipment in reliable running condition.
4. Establish stable processes that allow predictable labor standard.
5. Drive efforts to Improve Quality
· Automate Processes
· Develop tooling & Fixtures (Using CAD)
6. Drive efforts to Reduce Labor Cost
7. Reduce labor by justifying major capital equipment!

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience
Over 10 years’ experience in a mechanical improvement environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
