As a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst II, you will play a critical role in our finance team, with responsibilities split between accounting (70%) and financial analysis (30%). You will be working with various business units across multiple countries, handling complex financial data, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fixed asset roll-ups, including depreciation, amortization, and disposals.
- Prepare PPE roll forward reports and calculate CAPEX.
- Consolidate data from different locations into a cohesive financial schedule.
- Perform foreign exchange historic true ups for 50-60 different currencies.
- Conduct reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries.
- Prepare and review income statements and balance sheets.
- Perform G/L accounting and variance analysis.
- Handle some intercompany transaction accounting.
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Blackline for reconciliation.
- Use strong Excel skills to analyze and organize financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
- Experience working for global, publicly held companies (Manufacturing or O&G required).
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Experience with fixed asset management and foreign exchange true ups.
- Proficient in reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
- Familiarity with Oracle and Blackline required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work late twice a month for month-end close.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must have experience with G/L accounting.
- Previous roles with extensive interaction with international business units.
