- Phlebotomy skills. Modify laboratory study orders with protocols when abnormal results occur.
- Prepare IV solutions based on established protocols and formulas.
- Coordinate patient’s schedule with medical testing, imaging, nutritionist, and exercise physiologist schedules.
- Perform extensive vital signs, pulmonary function testing, blood pressures at rest and during treadmill testing, vision, hearing, cognitive testing, basal metabolic rate testing, and administering vaccinations.
- Answer phone calls and communicate well with high-level executives. Must use proper written and spoken grammar/language skills.
- Escort patients to laboratory, imaging, and fitness center.
- Prepare patient lounge-waiting room as required.
- Track and add lab data flawlessly into the medical record.
- Telephone follow up regarding response to treatment and further testing.
- Assist with computer, printer, phone, and office equipment issues as they arise.
- Computer Savvy.
- Document all patient communication and data collection in EMR.
- Proficient with PC-based Word, Excel, Outlook, including excel graphs regarding patient health data.
- Schedule patients using Office Tracker.
- Use the Metasoft treadmill testing software for basal metabolic rate and treadmill testing and print reports.
- Check e-mail and task man for daily patient communication.
- Add nutrition data into nutrition software and print reports.

Balances team and individual responsibilities. Good communication skills: oral and written. Complies with HIPAA regulations and is knowledgeable of patient rights.
- Job Knowledge/ Responsibilities – Performs their duties in an ethical and legal manner within the scope of their license as defined by the State. Maintains medical records in an accurate and legible manner. Has the ability to adhere to work schedule, be organized, manage time effectively and in a cost effective manner. Ability to respond to emergent situations. Ability to work independently and within a group. Follows physician orders and directions from management. Actively participates in the development of a healthy work environment. Assists in training new staff when needed.
- Attendance – Arrives to work area on time and has minimal absences. Observes assigned work schedules and hours.
- Mentor our optimal health recommendations (participates in regular exercise, good nutrition, non-smoking, and stress management)
Schedule:
- Hours will vary depending upon office schedule but are Monday to Friday mostly 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Compensation:
- Salary commensurate with training & experience
- Employment medical/dental insurance supplement
- Paid vacation and holiday time (PTO) prorated by FTE

- Once hired, paid time to train in our office as required
