Position Overview:
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integration and installation of audiovisual and information technology equipment in healthcare settings. You will collaborate closely with our project managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their unique needs and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Install computer mounting equipment in patient rooms along with a wide range of biomedical equipment, including medical monitors, imaging devices, and specialized medical devices, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Set up conference rooms, integrating AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and other technologies to enhance communication and collaboration.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and identify potential challenges.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to develop installation plans and schedules.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during installations, ensuring efficient resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform system testing and quality assurance to verify functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation activities, configurations, and service records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
- Proven experience in AV equipment installation, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
- Proof of Covid vaccination is a requirement.
