Responsibilities:
- Addressing of customers in a professional and courteous manner when welcoming them to the dealership and offering assistance whether they are looking for a new car or asking for service
- Determining each customer's vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
- Assisting customers who are looking to understand features of their vehicles
- Utilizing all support systems given by the dealership to maximize sales performance (AMM, CRM, MB sites)
- Assisting customers with test drives after obtaining proper identification from him/her
- Preparing vehicles for customers with appointment for a test drive or at time of delivery so wait time is reduced to a minimum
- Introducing customer to one of our sales managers prior to leaving the dealership
- Ensuring that the road to sale is documented in Customer Relations Management tool and possible other support systems
- Immediate follow-up with customer after initial visit or lead submittal
- Completing paperwork properly after deal is closed (incl. all necessary documents for special programs, discounts, coupons, or We Owe slips)
- Explaining of vehicle features at time of delivery with the use of ipad, mbrace setup and making sure that customer understand all warranty options
- Introduction of new customer to service department after purchase and emphasizing the benefit of doing service in our dealership; possibly scheduling first service appointment
- Follow-up with customer after the sale of vehicle
- Communicating with other departments in order to resolve customer concerns after the sale
- Maintaining certification through Mercedes-Benz Learning & Performance by the end of each quarter
- Maintaining product knowledge of all vehicles, financing options, accessories, and special promotions
- Attending of product training in-house and at other locations
- Developing, implementing and monitoring of sales goals that are set monthly with sales management to achieve personal as well as dealership objectives/goals
- Reviewing and analyzing monthly performance pertaining to sales, lost sales and customer surveys scores
- Consistently and proactively working with sales management during weekly sales meeting
- Delivering of an agreed monthly minimum amount of vehicles
- Maintaining a professional code of conduct at all times
