Receives, inventories, sets up and stores all items for the breakfast bar. Maintains appearance of room, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Greets guests and insures they are comfortable and feel welcome. Maintains house par and bar par of all items.
Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCIAL RETURNS
Monitors supplies and equipment and reports deficiencies to management.
Takes weekly inventory of breakfast bar items and banquet paper goods and insures an adequate supply of all items. Spot checks, each day, for critical/potential shortages and places orders as needed.
PEOPLE
Observes trends, notes customer comments and reports to management.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Maintains appearance of the dining area, furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Greets guests and insures that they feel comfortable and are welcome.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS
Orders from designated suppliers. Uses house par guidelines at all times.
Vacuums carpet, wipes down service areas, tables and walls. Cleans serving utensils.
Adjusts lighting, TV and HVAC as directed.
Sets up breakfast bar each morning as directed.
aCCOUNTABILITY
The immediate supervisor to this position is the Front Office Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Prerequisites:
Education: High School Graduate
Experience: 6 months of food service or related experience.
Skills: Comfortable interacting with guests. Neat, clean appearance and organized. Works well without supervision. Uses calculator, order sheets coffee and juice machines. Knowledgeable about area and local interactions.
