Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Adjuster or Public Adjuster in Training to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct thorough evaluations of client properties to determine damages and
establish claim validity, including climbing ladders and safely navigating roofs.
● Prepare and submit detailed estimates on behalf of clients to insurance
companies.
● Negotiate with insurance company adjusters to secure the highest possible
settlements.
● Attend inspections and meetings with insurance company representatives as required.
● Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims documentation.
● Advocate for clients during negotiations with insurance companies to secure fair settlements.
● Conduct site inspections and compile comprehensive loss reports.
● Keep clients informed throughout the claim process, offering high-quality, compassionate customer service.
● Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships through exceptional service.
● Stay up to date with current legislation and regulations affecting public adjusting
and insurance claims.
● Maintain accurate records and documentation for all claims and negotiations.
● Ensure all claims processes adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
● Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
● Ability to climb ladders and safely navigate roofs.
● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
● Ability to execute tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
● Experience in the insurance or construction industry is a plus.
● Familiarity with Xactimate software preferred.
● Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
● Proficiency in Google Workspace.
● Valid Texas Public Adjuster License or ability to obtain one.
● Must provide their own equipment to include ladder, computer, phone and other tools to complete inspections.
