- Oils, dust, debris, and other contaminants cause inefficiencies in heat exchangers and reduce heat transfer, leading to increased costs at refineries-this position exists to oversee the cleaning of tube exteriors (fin fan) that make up heat exchangers to remove these impurities and help to improve equipment efficiency.

Working conditions are outside in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Work involves lifting of materials and/or product up to 50 pounds; operators use commercial hoses to clean the top/bottom of fin fans or as directed with foam application. Operations requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but not limited to; FR Clothing eye safety goggles, steel-toed work boots, hardhats, and gloves.

Work will be executed in the field for campaigns. Standard campaign shifts are 12-14-hour workdays, 7 days a week until the campaign is complete, and all demobilization / logistics are complete. Company policy is to take the 14th day of work as a day of rest.

This is a project-based, variable hour position. Training begins in February with project work expected between March and September. Little to no work expected from October - January.
