Sales Manager – Engineering and Flight Test Services

AeroTEC is an Aerospace company providing a wide array of high-end services and turnkey solutions ranging from aircraft level analysis and design engineering, all the way to prototype flight testing and complete airworthiness certification. Our highly experienced aerospace engineering, testing, and program management teams work closely with customers to address their unique needs in a safe and cost-effective manner, utilizing proven in-house development methodologies and tools.
Purpose of the Role
As the Sales Manager for Commercial Markets, you will be responsible for managing the client experience, building, and extending relationships throughout the market segment with Aerospace OEM’s, Tier2/3 and startup customers. You will engage in pre-acquisition shaping of requirements, respond to sources sought and Requests for Information, collaborate closely with Program and Engineering teams to respond to Requests for Proposals, and coordinate internally and externally all aspects of post-sales to final delivery. In this role, you will report to the Head of Sales and Contracts.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Develop and implement AeroTEC’s Commercial market strategies and meet business growth targets.

Accountable for all new business pursuits from receipt of request through contract award.

Responsible for the Commercial business Forecast and the associated Sales action plan.

Build customer relationships with key program executive officers, contracting specialists and program managers.

Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and marketing techniques.

Identify customer needs and position AeroTEC solutions using a consultative selling approach, in close collaboration with in-house subject matter experts.

Contribute to business development tools and processes improvements.

Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by a manager.
Job Requirements
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience selling engineering services, preferably in Aerospace.

Prior experience in flight-testing services would be a definite plus.

Proven track record in building customer partnerships and developing profitable revenue growth in a B2B setting.

Good knowledge of laws and regulations governing engineering contracts and export control.

Ability to travel 50% of the time on average.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree (BSc in Engineering preferred)
