Living Water Pediatrics is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to work with a team that focuses on personalized, integrative pediatric medicine. Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for consultation/examination by completing intake, verifying patient information, recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit, measuring vitals.
- Preparation for patient appointments, chart preparation, requesting imaging, forms, medical records, patient referrals.
- Triages patient complaints in collaboration with supervision physician to determine patient care needs. Schedules patient appointments based on a patient's medical needs.
- Performs medical procedures, such as venipuncture and capillary finger sticks, within the scope of medical assisting or nursing practice, under supervising physician.
- Runs in-office lab tests for diagnosis of clinical conditions for medical provider
- Responds to patient and physician messages and calls in a professional and timely manner
- Educates patients about treatment course through guidance from supervising physician
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization's standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains clinic supplies, inventory tracking and ordering
- Acts as a patient advocate in coordination of medical care
- Serves as a practice representative for excellence in patient care and practice growth and development
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new tasks based on the practice needs; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education, Experience and Certifications:
Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing Program. Must hold current North Carolina nursing license. Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider status according to AHA. At least one year of professional nursing experience in a pediatric clinical setting required, outpatient experience preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Verifiable professional references required with application.
