CPA firm in lower Westchester County seeks a staff auditor / accountant with 3 to 5 years current experience in a CPA firm for a senior staff position.
The ideal candidate should have a basic knowledge of the following:
1. Auditing experience using engagement management software (CCH, SMART Practice Aids), including preparation of workpapers and schedules, posting journal entries; etc.
2. Financial statement preparation, including footnote disclosures;
3. Basic income tax preparation, both corporate and individual;
4. Ability to handle multiple client accounts with an attention to detail and time sensitiveness;
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills;
