JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner (NP) APRN – Pre-Surgical Testing
JOB TYPE: Full Time ; 4x10 hours week- no weekends
White Plains Hospital, a 292 bed, leading award-winning hospital, located in Westchester, 25 miles north of Manhattan, NY is looking for a full time Pre-Surgical Testing Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team.
The Pre-Surgical Testing APP will perform preoperative medical assessments for patients undergoing elective surgery.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

- · 4 X 10 hours Day Shifts
- · No weekend coverage
- · No evening/ night call required
- · Shifts will be outpatient (perioperative medicine clinic in the hospital)
- · Responsibilities include collaborating with physician to provide perioperative assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRE-SURGICAL TESTING NURSE PRACTITINER NP/ APRN
- · Graduation from Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- · Current New York State Licensure
- · Current National Certification
- · Current DEA Licensure
- · Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS)
- · Experience conducting patient histories is preferred
- · Training will be provided for candidates new to the field
