**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, possess knowledge of early childhood education, and exhibit strong classroom management skills.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in preparing and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for young children
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's learning and development
- Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., restroom use, feeding, dressing)
- Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
- Assist with the completion of daily sheets and the daily activities pertaining to eating, resting, using the bathroom, and staying for aftercare
- Communicate with the Lead Teacher regarding all aspects of the children’s care as well as classroom management
- Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times
**Requirements:**
- High School degree
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and/or a certificate in early childhood education or currently working towards the completion of one
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement engaging and interactive learning experiences for preschoolers
- Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a large group of children alone in a classroom
- Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
- Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs

- Utilize developmentally appropriate practice and best practice methods at all times
