Job Tasks & Responsibilities: Duties Include but are not limited too,
- Punctually arrive for scheduled shifts and adhere to the appropriate dress code, wearing the required name tag.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of all guest rooms, including layout, bedding, features, amenities, and maximum occupancy.
- Acquire detailed knowledge of property-related amenities, services, and associated costs.
- Stay informed about town activities, local attractions, and nearby restaurants.
- Understand and adhere to all financial aspects of the desk, including counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts, conducting daily cash outs, and following proper billing and payment procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all groups/functions hosted at the Inn.
- Efficiently handle "Walk-In" reservations.
- Resolve guest issues promptly and effectively to exceed their expectations.
- Maintain a general knowledge of the Inn's history and the surrounding area.
- Foster goodwill throughout the inn by demonstrating friendliness and courtesy to all guests, visitors, Inn management, and fellow employees.
- Report all guest issues and comments to the Guest Services Manager, Lodging Manager, or Innkeeper.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
