Job Summary:
The Vice President (VP) of Marketing is a marketing expert who takes responsibility for the overall marketing results of a company. This role will be strategically responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating effective marketing initiatives and programs that align with our evolving business goals and our company’s long-term success. The VP of Marketing will report to the President & CEO٫ and will oversee the internal marketing team across different global locations.
The ideal candidate is experienced٫ with proven end-to-end digital and field marketing experience and is a product marketer or researcher. A successful candidate is highly professional٫ driven٫ gifted at developing, motivating, and leading a team. Thrives on developing a strategic plan to drive sales upward.
Job Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for the marketing plan, strategy, and team
- Designing, planning, and executing effective marketing campaigns in line with the plan & determining and implementing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness
- Building brand awareness and generating innovative ideas to promote the brands/products
- Creating content strategies based on business objectives, category focus, and audience segments across all channels (online/offline/social)
- Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR, and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press, etc)
- Driving the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
- Directing and supporting the market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
- Building a high-performing marketing team and ensuring effective coordination with other departments
- Identifies and leads the company on future products that feed into our prod-dev team.
- Working closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies
- Building long-term relationships with employees, external partners, and stakeholders
- Managing the marketing budget to be on plan
- Other relevant tasks that may be assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Has experience building a successful marketing program and team from the ground up
- Proven track record in a senior role such as Marketing Director٫ VP of Marketing٫ or similar for 10+ years who has built, scaled, and led high-performing marketing teams
- 5+ years of B2B Marketing experience, preferably in enterprise sales
- Has managed 5+ people with proven track record of managing people (knows how to manage people up).
- Experience in the design and implementation of successful marketing campaign(s), and tradeshows
- Knows how to build industry leading marketing content.
- Proficient in Google AdWords٫ SEO٫ SEM, and web analytics
- Strong knowledge of marketing, including digital and field marketing, product marketing, brand marketing, trade shows execution, PR, content management, digital marketing & performance marketing
- Excellent strategic leadership٫ communication٫ analytical٫ data-driven, and project management skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- Has executive board interaction and presentation experience
- Bachelor's degree / Marketing MBA a big plus
- Pardot and Salesforce expertise (mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
