*Job Purpose:*
As the Controls Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for supporting design and graphical needs of building automation projects. You will work with senior level engineers in completing drawing and design packages while cross checking design details in electrical power, control panels, relay logic, wiring and control devices in association with HVAC, access, lighting and CCTV systems. You will accept responsibility and put into practice the leadership, and judgment you’ve developed from previous experiences
In addition, you may support software engineering and systems networking including programming, systems networks and communications.
*What You’ll Be Doing:*
o Producing accurate custom graphic packages for interface into the building automation system
o Facilitating graphics design utilizing your knowledge of CAD software toproduce system layouts and preliminary controls design based upon construction documents
o Obtaining cut sheets, coordinate submittal process and O/M assembly
o Checking drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
o Choosing the correct devices for the correct applications while remaining within the specification.
Using submittals, drawings, specifications, as-builts, programming and other source documents, produce custom graphic packages for interface into the building automation system utilizing Delta Control graphic packages
o Produce system layouts and controls graphics design based upon construction documents, submittals, and system programming.
o Produce custom graphic packages for interface into the building automation system
o Editing Visio and CAD design drawings
*What You Need to Know:*
*Technical Skills and Education: *
o Tridium graphics knowledge preferred
o Experience with HVAC systems
o Background in Bluebeam, Visio and/or CAD drafting preferred
o Two-year degree in engineering, engineering technologies or related field and/or graphics design
o Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical and architectural construction
o Experience with computer aided design software, experience with graphics packages preferred
