Job Description
McDonald’s has long been an industry leader, innovating to deliver improvements in the experience for our customers. In recent years, digital platforms have become an increasingly critical part of delivering phenomenal customer experience. We have invested to build assets and capabilities that will take advantage of this growing consumer interest in digital, including upgrades to the mobile app, as well as installation of self-order kiosks, and digital menu boards.
In an increasingly digital age, the number of touchpoints we have with our billions of customers continues to expand. Each of these touchpoints is an opportunity to serve a customer another feel-good moment and to serve the business valuable data on who the customer is, ultimately helping the entire organization shape our responses to the customers’ evolving needs. The role of a Product Manager, Profile is essential to defining and delivering on the strategy for capturing, maintaining, and modifying this customer profile information as we continue to grow and scale across the globe. You'll oversee front-end experiences across digital channels and partner closely with technology to implement reliability, security, and privacy standards to house the data on the backend, all while ensuring legal compliance and keeping the customer at the center of the experience. This role will be foundational to delivering a more personalized experience at every touchpoint we have.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy: Developing a comprehensive vision and strategy for customer profile products, continuously monitoring product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform development strategies.

User story and acceptance criteria definition: Facilitate daily squad ceremonies including standup, refinement, retro, sprint planning, etc. and populate the team backlogs with detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Alignment: Ability to bring a variety of stakeholders along the product journey; receiving input from all groups and driving the product towards a results-oriented solution while tackling business, technical, and customer feasibility, viability, and value risks

Market Research and Analysis: Staying current with customer needs, market trends, and industry changes, using customer feedback and analytics to guide product decisions, and conducting stakeholder surveys to identify business opportunities.

Roadmapping and Agile Delivery: Creating flexible product roadmaps in collaboration with design and engineering teams, adaptable to changing customer needs and technical developments throughout the product lifecycle.

Feature Definition and Prioritization: Analyzing customer feedback, competitor offerings, and enterprise initiatives/priorities to prioritize product features and collaborating with the team to define user stories and requirements for an optimal product experience.

Data Collection and Analytics: Monitoring post-launch product performance, tracking usage metrics, and utilizing analytical tools to make informed decisions.

User Experience Design: Ensuring the product provides an intuitive user experience, with usability and design considerations such as layout and typography.

Post-Launch Optimization: Updating the product post-launch with new features or fixes to maintain competitiveness and collaborating with sales and marketing for promotional strategies
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/ background in product management, software engineering, business administration, project management, design or a related field

Product certifications are a plus but not required

Proficiency with Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence)

Familiarity with customer data, identification, identity, or profiles preferred

Proven experience with launching and managing a product throughout its lifecycle

Skills in defining MVPs, developing proof of concepts, and leveraging prototyping

Competence in building and managing a product roadmap and sprint-level backlog
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities to influence stakeholders and build trust and alignment on decisions

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to optimally communicate sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Data-driven prioritization skills

Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Proficiency with measuring product performance: defining KPIs, running A/B testing, analyzing post-launch metrics to continue to deliver iterative value

Understanding of UX design principles and ability to determine requirements based on balancing customer experience with technical feasibility and other stakeholder input

Familiarity with conducting customer and market research
