Veterinary Technician
Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical and surgical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take and develop X-rays
- Monitor anesthesia during surgeries
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
- Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in veterinary technology
- Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
- Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common diseases
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and with compassion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $22.92 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
