Summary/Objective:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with documents and audits, overseeing part compliance, scrap reporting, and continuous improvement. This person must have an IATF audit certification which must include core tools and a strong quality management system oversight background and will work with all aspects of our business to ensure consistent quality of production, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure documents are in compliance.
2. Manage IATF audits and complete due diligence to ensure the site is within proper guidelines before the audit.
3. Maintain the PSI quality system that supports the maintenance of the quality registrations (IATF 16949:2016), is compliant with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and supports the achievement of agreed-upon customer quality requirements.
4. Ensuring all IATF quality management and system documents are current and accurate.
5. Performs internal audits of all Quality Management systems as per the internal audit schedule.
6. Directly involved with developing internal corrective actions.
7. Manage quality system over all three shifts.
- Conduct internal audits and publish the results.
9. Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
Education and experience are required for the role.
1. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
2. Must be IATF certified with core tools.
3. Two years’ Management experience, preferably in a Quality position.
4. Knowledge of the plastics industry is required.
