Responsibilities:
The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for answering all emergency calls and dispatching the appropriate ambulances and other agencies in a timely fashion. This includes logging all radio traffic for dispatch, enroute, on-scene, to the hospital, at the hospital and available times into the CAD system. All necessary radio traffic is managed in a timely manner and documented in the CAD system. The EMS Dispatcher reviews EPCR’s that are turned in to make sure all needed information is in place for billing information.

Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) certificate, or able to obtain within 1 year of hire.
