Full Job Description:
A doctor's office specializing in Nephrology has a part time position available for a Medical Receptionist
The responsibilities for the position are as follows, but not limited to:
Basic front office (must know): Answering multiple phone lines, check in/out, scheduling appointments, etc.
Verification of insurance benefits including Medicare, Medicare HMOs, and other Commercial Insurances. Any other responsibilities necessary for patient care in the office. Qualified candidates must be a team player, must be able to multi-task, work well with patients and staff. Knowledge in E-Clinical Works is preferred, but not required. This individual MUST be able to perform well in a fast-paced and high volume office setting.
Back office (will train): Taking patient vitals, entering detailed patient history into EMR (E-Clinicals), rooming patients and transmitting lab orders, updating medications, etc.
Minimum 2 years of experience in physician office is required**
