Marketing Specialist
We are a growing independent brokerage that has been in business for 50+ years! Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Atlanta team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry and be licensed in Property & Casualty. They will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to effectively quote new business and manage renewals. This is a Hybrid role from our Atlanta office with 2 days per week in office.
Key Responsibilities:

Works with Account Managers and Producers to determine client quoting needs.

Works with multiple insurance companies to obtain quotes for various lines of business.

Submits detailed client info into database to obtain accurate rates.

Reviews quotes for endorsements, exclusions and subjectivities.

Reviews firm quotes for accuracy before sharing with the producer/client.

Generates proposal for client.

Binds coverage once sold.

Explains proposal info to the Account Manager and/or Producer with carrier specifics pertaining to the clients overall needs.

Works with carrier marketing reps/underwriters to learn and understand appetite, new and latest product offerings, etc.

Schedules and/or participate in periodic meetings with marketing reps to ensure knowledge of the products being offered.

Participates in webinars and learning requirements based on system updates / product changes.

Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred. Insurance studies and designations are a plus.

Active Accident, Property and Casualty Insurance License.

Minimum 2 years of insurance experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.

Good oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.

Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

Competitive Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (DOE)
