Job Description:
· Perform and document assigned procedures, including but not limited to, vital signs, EKG’s, blood draws, and injections
· Document basic medical history
· Prepare patients for exams and treatments
· Assist the provider in medical procedures and treatments when necessary
· Set up, restock, and clean exam rooms
· Maintain equipment in its proper working order, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments
· Answer the phone and schedule patients for appointments as needed
Skills:
· Proven working experience as a medical assistant
· Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures
· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and planning skills
· Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
Requirements
· Phlebotomy experience required
· Medical Assistant Certification preferred
· CPR certified preferred
