Harben inc. is a growth-oriented world leader in high-pressure pumps, and provides high-pressure sewer cleaning equipment to the municipal and contractor market.
We are expanding our Business Development and Sales Division and looking for an Entry Level Sales Representative to join our team in the Atlanta, GA area! We are looking for a self-starter who always exhibit a positive attitude. As a full-time Entry Level Sales Representative, you'll be trained in all of Harben’s products to be able to prospect new business for the company. The training will foster and enhance communication skills, negotiation tactics, and strategic planning. This position involves cold calling, prospecting, and account management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers, evaluate customer needs and educate customers on products and services.
- Initiate cold calling, emailing, and cold-knocking to generate new prospects and sales leads.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Prepare and deliver quotes to customers in a timely manner.
- Conduct equipment training on delivered units, during live demonstrations, and to previous customers as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, initiating regular contact and responding to customer inquiries and requests.
- Recommend marketing strategies, and follow industry trends to target specific potential new business.
- Work closely with the inside sales team and support personnel to develop strategies and share knowledge regarding customers, products and sales techniques.
- Meet designated sales objectives in line with KPI’s.
- Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
- Generate and submit sales reports to management, and keep management and sales team informed of all relevant activity.
- Maintain a professional image at all times, reflected in personal appearance, communication, and presentation of personal vehicle used for business.
- Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
- Perform additional duties and projects as requested.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives.
- 1-3 years of experience in experience in sales (preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in an industrial or heavy equipment setting (preferred)
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing strategies and planning
- Proficiency with the word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and CRM software
- Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, demonstrations and client meetings
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong negotiating, planning, and consultive sales skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with an unprecedented drive for results
- A reliable vehicle is required
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing time well
Compensation:
Base salary $40,000 plus commission: Average $75,000 total comp/year*
*Commissions and earning potential are not capped
