Summary: The ReStore Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting the ReStore manager with the management of the ReStore’s day to day operations. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ReStore operation, customer service, donation management, volunteer performance oversight, safety, security, and maintenance of the facilities and ReStore property. The Shift Supervisor must ensure that all donors, customers, and volunteers have an excellent experience at the ReStore. The Shift Supervisor must also greet customers, respond to questions, and direct customers to merchandise within the store. Additionally, the shift supervisor is expected to be able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs including nights and weekends.
Job Description:
- Open, close, and operate the ReStore as needed
- Assist with maintaining policies and procedures relating to daily operations, (e.g. cash management, cash reconciliation, inventory acquisition, inventory control, donor tracking, and human resources)
- Ability to be a team player and work effectively with peers and management to accomplish tasks
- Professional and courteous interaction with donors including utmost care and concern for personal property
- Expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, and policies
- Responsible for daily oversight for all sales floor and warehouse operations
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly cleaned, priced, inspected, and displayed in an attractive appearance
- Properly screen all drop-off donations
- Ensure social media engagement by posting new merchandise, sales promotions, and calendar events
- Serve as a backup donations ambassador in the event of temporary staff shortages
- Provide adequate training for both volunteers and staff
- Introducing rewards program to customers for future promotional opportunities
- Increasing in store sales
- Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor while also promoting the Habitat for Humanity mission
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor, warehouse, and restrooms
- Manage donations in warehouse to maintain a safe, organized, clean, and efficient environment
- Conduct volunteer orientations
- Manage telephone inquiries relating to donation pick-ups and drop-offs
- Expected to help customers load and unload merchandise as needed

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to Lift / Carry / Push / Pull for extended periods of time, to move and handle boxes of merchandise, furniture, and fixtures that could be up to 50 pounds
- Ability to spend majority of the day standing
- Ability to understand and communicate in English; other languages are a plus
Qualifications:
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Access to personal transportation
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
