Responsibilities:
- Supports engineering activities such as fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental designs, prototype modifications, testing, etc.
- Capable of reading mechanical drawings and electrical block diagrams, schematics, layout, etc.
- Perform operational tests; interpret results to make recommendations; Troubleshoot operation of equipment being tested.
- Handling and validation of sensitive electronic components
- Work closely with engineers to iterate designs based on test results.
- Participate in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions, or incorporate improvements.
- Familiarity with basic shop tools, such as saws, mills, and drills, as well as electronic lab equipment, like multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Source parts; Maintain, repair, or replace faulty components.
- May do onsite maintenance at the customer site as needed.
- Execute safe work practices around high voltage AC & DC power systems
Skills and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a technician in a product development setting
- Driver's license
- Ability to multitask and interact with professionals from different functions in the organization.
- Ability to communicate technical matters clearly.
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations.
- Good problem-solving skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
