JOB SUMMARY
The School of Counseling at Marymount University invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. Applicants are encouraged to apply who have a strong commitment to teaching and research in the field of professional counseling. Teaching responsibilities include courses in the CACREP core. The standard teaching load is 3/3; other responsibilities include scholarship and service.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Education Ph.D./Ed.D. from a CACREP accredited program in Counselor Education and Supervision
Experience

Assistant: (Minimum requirement) earned doctorate or 1 year from dissertation completion

Associate: Experience in teaching that meets the university requirements will be considered for Associate rank to include teaching experience and record of scholarship
Licenses or Certifications LPC or eligible in DC, Virginia, or Maryland within a year from hire
