RN AND LPN, Vent, G-tube, Trach Experience
We are currently seeking dedicated, hard-working, and thorough RNs and LPNs to join our team as Private Duty Nurses! The nurse has several goals that include preventing medical complications that could result in facility placement, providing medically necessary nursing care to patients in their homes, providing care for patients transitioning to in-home care, and assessing, providing, and monitoring care for patients by the hour.
Job Duties Include:
- Provides routine nursing care according to the Plan of Care. Report significant findings to MD and Director of Nursing
- Thoroughly documents electronically in patient's chart, specifically Nursing Assessments and Nursing Notes, in a detailed and timely manner in accordance with agency standards
- Takes verbal orders from the Medical Director, documents them in the patient record and carries them out accurately and professionally
- Administers medications and other treatments as required
- Encourage efficient utilization of supplies and equipment to prevent waste.
- Collaborate with Care coordinators and supply companies in incorporating medical issues into treatment planning
- The services that private duty nurses provide may include the following:
- Tube feedings
- Tracheotomy care
- Pulmonary care
- Ventilator care
- Traumatic brain injury care
- Diabetes care
- Medication and insulin administration
- Wound care
- Medication and insulin administration
- Wound care
- Seizure disorder care, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Holds a current license as Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered in the state of Illinois and maintains current licensure per state requirements
- Is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Home Health or Private Duty Nursing is preferred, but not required

- Full-time and Part-Time opportunities are available with 8, 10, 12, and16 Hour shifts (Flexible Schedules)
- Patient population: 1-30 year old
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 60 per week
